Help finding a job
There are many services in Havering to help you find the right job for you.
Havering Works
Havering Works is a free service from Havering Council for people who do not have a job.
It can help you find work, get back into work, or learn new skills. You can also get support to find training or volunteering opportunities to improve your skills and job prospects.
You can...
- Get One-to-one support that is tailored to your needs.
- Work with an Employment Specialist to create a personal plan that helps you move towards the future you want.
- Connect with other services that can offer extra support and opportunities.
- Identify your skills and experience and match them to suitable job opportunities.
- Grow your confidence with support to write a CV, prepare for interviews, and search for jobs.
Get support
Complete the contact form yourself, or ask a support worker or organisation to complete it with you.
Havering Works will contact you to talk about your goals and find the support that best matches your needs.
If another service is a better fit, they will help you find the right support.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will check that you are eligible for the programme.
Havering Works will then contact you to arrange your appointment.
If someone is referring you, they must have your permission before sharing your details.
