C-Card Scheme

Free condoms, lubricant and sexual health advice for young people aged 13 to 24 in Havering.

Registration is quick and easy - you can simply visit a C-Card outlet. If you're aged 16 and over, you can register online.

What is the C-Card?

The C-Card is your key to free condoms, lubricant, and confidential sexual health advice from local community spots across Havering and London. It's designed for young people aged 13 to 24.

Why get one? If you're thinking about sex or are already sexually active, a C-Card ensures you always have access to free condoms, helping you stay safe and informed. It's a confidential service, meaning your privacy is protected, and it also offers valuable information and advice on sexual health and relationships.

How to reigster for a C-Card

Registration is quick and easy.

  • Online Registration (Ages 16+): Register online and you'll get a virtual C-Card with a unique number. You can show this virtual card at any participating outlet in Havering or other boroughs to pick up condoms and lubricant.
  • In-Person Registration (Under 16s & All Ages): If you're under 16, you'll need to visit one of our registered outlets to register. You can also register in person if you're 16 or over, and you'll get a physical card on the spot.

If you registered online and want a physical card, you can swap your virtual card for a physical one at any outlet. Find an outlet:  Havering - Come Correct

What information will you be asked for?

You may be asked for a few simple details, such as your name, date of birth, postcode and a pseudonym. Please use a pseudonym you can remember.

Your physical C-Card will not show your name. It will only have a unique number on it. Staff should explain how your information is used and kept confidential.

How to use your C-Card

Once you have your C-Card, show your virtual card number or physical card at a participating outlet; these are places like some schools, colleges, youth centers, and clinics. Staff will check the card number and provide your condom pack or lubricant. You can also ask for advice or information if you need it.

Find a C-Card outlet

You can use your C-Card at participating sexual health clinics, youth centres, schools, colleges and community venues.

Use the outlet finder and enter your postcode to find the closest place to you across london. The purple circle icons show C-Card outlets across the borough.

Healthy relationships, consent and staying safe

Healthy relationships should feel respectful, safe and equal. Consent means everyone involved freely agrees, feels comfortable, and can change their mind at any time.

You should never feel pressured to do anything sexual. You can say no, pause, ask questions or stop at any point. If something does not feel right, speak to a trusted adult, a sexual health service or another support service.
