Help finding a job

Find a job can be stressful. There are many services in Havering here to help you find the right job for you.

Havering Works

Havering Works is a free service that helps local people who are out of work. If you’re looking for a job, training, or want to explore career options, they’re here to support you.

  • One to one support: You’ll meet with someone who will listen to you and help figure out what skills or training you might need.
  • Personal advice: A trained adviser will help you make a step-by-step plan to reach your goals.
  • Job coaching: Get help with building confidence, staying motivated, and preparing for work.
  • Extra support: If you need more specialist help, they’ll connect you with the right organisations.
  • Job matching: They’ll help you find jobs that match your skills and experience.
  • Job search help: Get support with writing your CV, filling out job applications, and preparing for interviews.

Please get in touch with the team via email at havering.works@havering.gov.uk or call the team on 01708 434456.
