There are lots of safe places in Havering children and young people can go to to hang out and socialise with their friends.
Havering Youth Service offer a range of activities for young people from 10 – 19 years of age (up to 25 for young adults with additional needs).
Young people in Havering can be supported by youth workers through universal youth clubs, targeted programmes, 1:1 support and detached youth work across the borough.
The Unity Hub is a safe place for young people in South Street, Romford, open every Wednesday from 15:00.

Founded in 2004, The Habbit Factory (THF) is an inclusive arts organisation currently working with 450 children and young people weekly in the London Borough of Havering.
THF work with people who often don't find other groups accessible for them and people from low-income backgrounds. THF prioritises making truly inclusive services where people of all races, abilities and backgrounds are welcomed and supported.
THF co-create large-scale performances with their children and young people, which challenge stigma in the wider community.
Kaleidoscope is a free LGBTQ+ safe space for 17-24s, meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at Lumiere Romford 5pm - 7pm. Each session involves a different creative activity, from jewellery making, to game nights.
The Third Space Youth (TTSY) work alongside young people and the wider community to deliver youth work that is relevant, supportive, creative and anti-oppressive. Our ethos is based on kindness, inclusivity and harnessing the power of communities.
We work with young people aged 11- 19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs. We offer:
Newark Youth London offers a range of activities for young people from 10 – 19 years of age (up to 25 for young adults with additional needs) across East London.
In Havering, we run activities as and when we can secure funding and grants. Look out for summer programmes, after school activities and Saturdays sports at Beam Park, Rainham Park and other locations in the southern part of Havering.
