Mental health support for young people
- Havering CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) - support for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing emotional, behaviour and / or mental health challenges.
- School nurses - support for children and young people to have a healthy lifestyle.
- Rainham Foodbank free counselling service for all ages - their MySpaceMyPlace programme is designed for young people aged 6-17 to work through feeling in a safe environment through creative methods, such as art, collage, sculpting, and finger-painting.
- Havering Emotional Support Team (HEST) - collaborative service in some schools to support children and young people's wellbeing.
- Havering Educational Psychology Service & Helpline - support for children, young people, parents and carers.
- SEND Education Support Service (SEND ESS) - team of specialist SEND advisors.

Educational Psychologists (EPs) are professionals who use their training in psychology to work with schools and families, to help children and young people to learn and thrive in their setting. They typically work with schools and settings to help them to support young people and may not always work directly with the young person.
Havering Emotional Support Team (HEST)
Havering Emotional Support Team is a new collaborative service which is designed to help meet the emotional wellbeing needs of children and young people in education settings. This support is aimed at children and young people who may be experiencing mild to moderate emotional wellbeing concerns. We provide additional support working alongside other professionals who are already based in and around schools and colleges as part of the Whole School Approach.
