There are lots of local groups, classes and programmes where children and young people can get active.
Get active
Getting active is a great way for children and young people to stay healthy, have fun, and make new friends. From team sports and dance classes to swimming, martial arts, and more, there are lots of exciting ways to get moving and try something new.
Outdoor activities
- Harrow Lodge Junior Parkrun - Every Sunday at 9am.
- Skate Gals and Pals - Skate collective supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals of marginalised genders, People of Colour (POC) and children.
- Hylands Tennis Club - Youth learn and play programme, holiday camp, and competition programme.
Dance and Theatre
- HASWA Bollywood and Bhangra classes - Dance classes for children and young people.
- Step Change Studio - Dance and movement for disabled people of all ages.
- The Habbit Factory - Inclusive theatre workshops for children 3-17.
Indoor activities
- Havering Youth Service - Activities for children in Havering, including youth clubs, music groups, and fitness for young people with SEND.
- Maylands Green Table Tennis Club - Sessions for young people on Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's.
- Essex Cultural and Youth Service - Islamic cultural events, youth support, and sporting activities.
