Mental health crisis support
If you, or someone you are with, is in immediate danger, call 999.
If you, or someone else, needs urgent support for a mental health issue, phone Mental Health Direct on 0300 555 1000 (24/7, 365 days a year).
Help is also available from NHS 111 (option 2).
Support services are available for you to access, whatever you’re going through.
Support if you have communication needs
The 111 service is suitable for Deaf/hard of hearing people. On the NHS 111 website you can find information about:
- Text relay
- BSL support
- Getting an interpreter if your preferred language isn't English
Crisis Cafés
A Crisis Café is launching in Havering this winter, 2025!
This will be a safe and friendly drop-in service for anybody who is experiencing severe emotional or psychological distress.
The NELFT 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Assessment Hub in Redbridge is open for Havering residents to go to. You can use the Hub if you are over 18 and live in Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Barking & Dagenham, or Havering. You can reach us by calling, walking in, or through a referral from a health care professional.
