Sight Action Havering is a small, independent registered charity dedicated to supporting people of all ages with vision impairment in the London Borough of Havering.

Our mission is to minimise social isolation and promote independence for those living with sight loss. We offer information, advice, and support to anyone at risk of losing their sight or already experiencing vision impairment.

  • Support and information: We help individuals and families understand their options and connect with local and national resources.
  • Community awareness: We work to raise awareness of the needs of vision impaired people among service providers and the wider community.
  • Collaboration: We partner with a wide range of organisations in the sight loss sector, including Essex Sight and Visionary.
  • Advocacy: We input into local strategies and planning to ensure the voices of those with sight loss are heard.

Our friendly team of trustees and volunteers are here to help, whether you need advice, information, or simply someone to talk to about living with sight loss.

All services are provided free of charge.
