Since 2008, HoardingUK has provided a support service to people, or people close to, and professionals impacted by hoarding behaviour. Our values, in relation to this, has been that we provide a holistic support.
We have directly supported thousands of people in many ways. This has not been done in an effort to build a business, instead to increase skills and capacity on the ground for all those impacted.
The team offer:
Need Help/Advice? You can text contact using the form and type in your message, and we’ll get you back to you as soon as possible.
Advocacy – We provide remote advocacy throughout the United Kingdom to help people affected by hoarding behaviour with issues that may arise from housing, adult social care or other services. We work in a person-centred way towards positive outcomes and improved channels of communication.
If you are being threatened with eviction, and meet the financial criteria, you are eligible for support from a solicitor through Legal Aid. If you need to find a Legal Aid solicitor, click here.
We offer Zoom group sessions. If you are interested in joining, please contact us. No more than five people in a group. Times to be set at a mutually convenient time.
