Day 1: Saturday 11 July: This year, the event will be headlined by the 70s/80s legends Odyssey and Heatwave! Performing their classic hits including ‘Boogie Nights’, ‘Use it up wear it up’ and ‘Always and forever!’
Adding to the mix 7 amazing tributes to Blondie, Madness, Elton John, Boy George, Whitney Houston, The Blues Brothers and Fleetwood Mac, giving you the ultimate 80s throwback experience! Hosted by the legendary DJ Ska n Mash, playing all your favourite 80’s hits AND included in your ticket is a second SOUL stage, sponsored by Solar Radio, presenting their best soul DJs and live acts! The amplified music is on between 12 pm and 11 pm.
Day 2: Sunday 12 July: A family festival featuring family-themed shows and attractions throughout the day, including tributes to K-pop, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, a kids tent with loads of performances, live wrestling, a children’s fun fair, bar and more! The amplified music is on between 11 am and 8 pm.
With their lower ticket prices and extremely reasonable bar prices, Summer Fest truly is the best value festival around for miles. Loads of food stalls on site, and bring in your own food if you wish. The event is organised by and in aid of local mental health charity Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham.
