The Live Well Havering Outreach team hosts regular hubs and pop-ups around the borough, supporting people with their health and wellbeing.
They also support our community of Health Champions as part of their training opportunities and supporting Health Champions to volunteer at outreach events.

Every Tuesday 12:00-15:00.

Meet the team
Our Outreach team is made up of Health Trainers who are specialists in different areas of health and wellbeing.
Alex Edwards - experienced Personal Trainer & Psychotherapist
Alex is a Havering resident who you may have met as part of his work with Everyone Active.
Alex is a qualified Personal Trainer, Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Coach with experience working on Havering's weight management programme for adults and the HENRY weight management programme for children.

Debbie Bailey - former Health Champions co-lead & cancer screening advocate
Debbie is a keen runner, walker and lover of the outdoors, with a real passion for all things health and wellbeing, largely inspired by her own personal health journey.
Debbie has 9 years experience working closely with Havering's Public Health team as a health campaigner - initially as a volunteer on a Cancer Awareness campaign, and later as part of the successful My Health Matters Health Champion project, supporting and encouraging others in their own health journeys.
Debbie is a mother of four grown-up children and has lived in Havering for most of her life. Debbie cares deeply about her local community and helping others to live healthier, happier lives.
Jane Herbert - expert Youth Worker & Creative Health leader
Jane is the former Head of Havering's Youth Service and current Director of Third Space CIC (youth work organisation in Havering). Jane has a passion for all things arts, culture and creativity and works for the Queen's Theatre leading the creative health agenda (the importance of arts, culture and creativity on people's wellbeing).
Karen Schollhammer - experienced Physiotherapist & former Long COVID service lead
Qualified Physiotherapist by background with 23 years of experience across the NHS and private practice. Passionate about getting people out of 'pain' and into movement, gaining strength and momentum so they can achieve their functional, lifestyle and fitness goals.
Karen loves to inspire and to be inspired and is really looking forward to growing with and into this team.
Ross Marshall - Workplace Wellbeing Lead & Men's Health Champion
Ross is champion for men's health and mental health who you may have met as part of the Proper Blokes Club and Talk FC, groups that encourage residents to open up and speak up about their mental health. Ross currently leads Havering Council's Workplace Wellbeing support offer.
Sharon Adkins - qualified Nutritionist & former Health Champions' lead
Sharon is a qualified Nutritionist with 20 years’ experience specialising in weight management and helping people to see the power of food on their health.
Sharon also delivers a lot of our accredited Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) training, such as the Health Champions training and nutrition training.
Tony Minter - experienced NHS Chaplain & Counsellor
Tony works as both as Chaplain and Bereavement Counsellor for the NHS. He has over 20 years’ experience in numerous areas of counselling, teaching, training and support, including wellbeing, mindfulness, mental health and cognitive behavioural therapy. Tony loves meeting people and has a passion for helping them discover (or recover) their full life potential.
