NHS Health Check
The NHS Health Check is a check-up every 5 years for adults in England aged 40 to 74.
It can tell you whether you're at higher risk of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia.
Health checks for people with learning disabilities
If you are over 14 and have a learning disability, you should get a health check from your GP every year.
Blood pressure checks
The only way to know if you have high blood pressure is by having a blood pressure check.
High blood pressure can cause health problems, like a stroke, if left untreated.
