Some people are eligible for discounted travel. Find out if you're eligible and how to sign up.

Freedom Passes

Freedom Passes give Londoners aged 66+ and disabled people free public transport across London and on local buses across England.

You can find the full eligibility criteria on the London Councils website.

Children under 5 travel for free with a paying adult on London public transport.
Children aged 5-10 travel free on London public transport using a 5-10 Zip Oyster photocard.
Young people aged 11-15 travel free on London public transport using a 11-15 Zip Oyster photocard.

Discounted travel if you're a student living in London with the 18+ Student Oyster photocard.
Discounted travel for care leavers living in London aged 18-25 with the 18-25 Care Leaver Oyster photocard.
People aged 18+ can get an Apprentice Oyster photocard for discounted travel in the first 12 months of their apprenticeship.
Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount card for unemployed people looking for work.
