London has a thriving LGBTQIA+ community.

 

From pubs and cafés, bookshops and museums, to voluntary sector organisations supporting LGBTQIA+ wellbeing, there are many places you can visit and groups you can join.

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope was set up in 2022 when local members were tired of not having a flourishing LGBTQ+ scene in Romford, and feeling like support and advice wasn’t available when they needed it.

Elop

The London LGBTQ+ Community Centre is a sober, intersectional community centre and café where all LGBTQ+ people are welcome, supported, can build connections and can flourish.

She Her They Them

Gay's The Word Bookshop

Gay's The Word is the UK's oldest LGBT bookshop and a touchstone for the broader LGBT community near Russell Square tube station.

Pride and History Month events

LGBTQ+ Pride month is celebrated every June, and LGBTQ+ history month is celebrated every February.
