Step back to the 1990s and discover the music, people, record shops, pirate radio, clubs and DJs who helped shape Romford’s electronic music scene.
From rave to hardcore and jungle to drum & bass and garage, Mega Mega is an immersive new exhibition that celebrates Romford’s place in the history of electronic music and club culture – and the people who made it happen.
Discover the people and places, and experience the stories and sounds that shaped the scene, alongside new commissions exploring how Romford’s music scene continues to influence a new generation of artists. Explore Romford’s Suburban Sound Revolution at Atik, Romford (formerly Time & Envy, and Liquid), before this former nightclub closes.
