Living Well Community Wellness and Empowerment Service
The Living Well Community Wellness & Empowerment Service supports Havering residents aged 18 to 64 to stay healthy, independent and connected to their local community.
The Living Well Community Wellness & Empowerment Service is free.
The service is funded by Havering Council and delivered by Tapestry Care UK in partnership with local community organisations.
Support is provided at Tapestry Care UK's community hubs across Harold Hill, Romford, Hornchurch and Rainham.
The Living Well Community Wellness & Empowerment Service is delivered by Tapestry Care UK and is different from Live Well Havering.
What does 'Live Well' mean?
"Living Well" is a term often used by the NHS and councils. It means helping people live healthy, fulfilling and independent lives within their communities.
The aim is to help people access the support they need before they require more intensive health or social care services.
Who can use this service?
This free service is for Havering residents aged 18 to 64 who may:
- Feel lonely, isolated or disconnected from others
- Have a mental health condition
- Be autistic or neurodivergent
- Have a long-term health condition
- Have a disability
- Care for a family member, partner or friend
The service welcomes people from all backgrounds and communities.

What support is available?
After receiving a referral, a member of the Tapestry Care UK team will contact you to discuss your needs and goals.
Together, you will identify the support that is right for you.
Support may include:
- Social groups and community activities
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing support
- General wellbeing support
- Healthy lifestyle support
- Support for unpaid carers
- Digital skills and online access support
- Help completing forms and applications
- Food, nutrition and healthy eating advice
Support may be provided through:
- One-to-one appointments
- Group sessions
Activities delivered by trusted local community organisations
Where does support take place?
Support is available at Tapestry Care UK's community hubs in:
- Hornchurch
- Rainham
- Romford
- Harold Hill
