St Francis Hospice Memory Walk

  • Mental health & wellbeing
  • Healthy body

Saint Francis Hospice is hosting its second Memory Walk in Raphael Park in Romford on Sunday 7th September and it’s calling on the community to remember their loved ones and fundraise to secure the future of hospice care.  Here Charlotte Winder shares what people can expect on the day.

Last year we hosted our first Memory Walk in Raphael Park in Romford, bringing 300 supporters together to raise £37,000 for people who need our expert and compassionate palliative and end of life care services.

It was such a huge success. There was a beautiful atmosphere, lots of laughter and fun as people united to support Saint Francis Hospice and remember their loved ones.

We’re excited to be back again at the beautiful Raphael Park on Sunday 7th September and we’re hoping even more people will join us. Arriving at 10am, walkers will be setting off at 11am on a 2.5k or 5k route.  It’s so much more than a walk – there will be lots of music and entertainment along the way as well as food and drinks so you can relax and enjoy the day with your family and friends. Dogs are welcome too!
